One of the best high school football teams in the nation Mater Dei Monarchs face off this week against one of their fiercest rivals the Edison Chargers. Mater Dei has produced some of the best football players in California and a lot of times the NFL. This rivalry for most who don't know, stems from the fact that both teams base out of Huntington, California. The Big Mouth of Edison doesn't always seem to be enough to overtake the Big Records of Mater Dei. Edison Players couldn't talk their way into a win last week against Mater Dei's little brother Servite, leaving them with a 2-1 record, while the undefeated Monarchs are coming off a solid performance against an up and coming Santa Monica Team.
Couch Sesh is totally neutral when it comes to high school football...
Monarchs rule all.
